So, here it is; the finished painting…
‘Pop Art’
I am really going to miss this ‘pop’ of colour in my studio when it goes. It really does pack a colourful punch in there!
It’s got a couple of weeks of drying time to go before I can send it to its new owner, but that gives me plenty of time to get it professionally photographed. That way, I’ll be able to offer some limited edition giclee prints. So, if you would like to reserve one (there will only be 25 editions), let me know.
In other news
Somebody recently contacted me inviting me to have an exhibition in their vineyard. A winery sounds like the perfect venue to host an event, so I’m off to meet them in a couple of weeks. Although I have done exhibitions before, this would be my first solo show.
With this in mind, I’m planning to create a body of wine and alcohol-related paintings over the next few months, in the hope that I can get enough together to host the event later this year or certainly by early next spring.
It’s an exciting prospect, considering the last 18 months we have had!
