So here it is, my final painting for 2021, and I think it’s quite an appropriate painting to wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year!

I’m pleased that I got it completed before the year is out, which was my goal. I don’t like carrying a painting, or even a series, from one year to the next. It was a challenge, considering the amount there is to do in the lead up to Christmas, but I did it. Phew!

Right now I am embracing some much-needed calm and hoping that 2022 proves to be less of a challenge than this year has been.

I’ll be taking January off, to recharge and refill my creative well and I’ll be using that time to collect inspiration for my next painting.

See you in February!
